Michael Lenke
Michael Lenke is a researcher at the Center for Critical Computational Studies (C3S). His work in the field of computer science education focuses on educational approaches that foster reflective and meaningful interactions with digital technologies. He is particularly interested in artificial intelligence, (explainable) AI in educational contexts and computational thinking.
Prior to joining C³S, Michael Lenke worked as a researcher at Paderborn University in the field of computer science education. After completing his Master of Education for higher education in computer science and mathematics, he contributed to the Erasmus+ project TeaEdu4CT – Future Teachers Education: Computational Thinking and STEAM, where he developed teaching concepts for the education of future primary school teachers. He subsequently joined the Collaborative Research Center TRR 318 Constructing Explainability, where he designs and conducts workshops aimed at improving people’s interaction with and understanding of artificial intelligence.
