Prof. Dr. Manuel Linsenmeier

Manuel Linsenmeier is a Professor of Environmental Economics at the Center for Critical Computational Studies (C3S) at Goethe University Frankfurt. He is also a Wuebben Foundation Fellow and a Research Affiliate of the CESifo Research Network. Manuel Linsenmeier's main research interests are climate change and sustainable development. His work has been published in leading interdisciplinary journals (e.g. Nature Climate Change) and economics field journals (e.g. Journal of Environmental Economics and Management). His research seeks to contribute to public debate and involves collaboration with the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, and other national and international organisations.

Biography

Prior to joining C3S, Manuel worked at the High Meadows Environmental Institute at Princeton University and at the Climate School at Columbia University. He holds a PhD in Environmental Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, where his PhD thesis won the Best Doctoral Dissertation Award by the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists.
